Location & Directions

The Harbor Lights Inn is located in Depoe Bay, Oregon, midway between Lincoln City and Newport just off scenic Highway 101. We are only a two-hour drive from Portland or Eugene or one hour from Salem.

Depoe Bay is a charming town to explore itself…with its many shops and restaurants and its unique seaside locale. If you stay a few days, you can venture outside town. The immediate area is rich with nature, history, beauty and adventure. Ask our staff for some day-trip ideas.

From Portland

From Portland – Take I-5 south to Exit 294 (99W). Stay on 99W (drive southwest) to Highway 18. Stay on Highway 18 (southwest direction) to Highway 101 (going south). Drive through Lincoln City on 101 and continue south approximately 8 miles to Depoe Bay.

From Eugene

From Eugene – Take I-5 north to Highway 34 at Corvallis. Stay on 34 to Highway 20. Follow 20 into Newport. Turn right onto Highway 101 (going north). Drive through Newport and continue north about 8 miles to Depoe Bay.

Depoe Bay

Once in Depoe Bay – At the only traffic light, turn left onto Bay Street. At the end of Bay Street, continue going straight (this is Bay View Avenue) until you see Harbor Lights Inn parking lot on your right.
